What makes a community great? According to my new friend Wayne, it’s the ability to enjoy quiet moments, places to get some exercise, and opportunities to connect with others. And who is Wayne? Anticipation in the community is building as over 300 athletes from more than 26 different countries are making their way to the Chattahoochee River for the 2023 ICF Kayak Freestyle World Championships taking place October 9 – 14.
