Grand Slam Fun Alert! Braves Country Road Trip Brings All-Star Spark to the Clingstones’ New Home

Remember the thrill of a summer night at the ballpark? The scent of hotdogs in the air, the collective cheer rising with a well-hit ball, the simple joy of community gathering around America’s pastime? Well, get ready to amplify that feeling because this Saturday, May 10th, Synovus Park is set to host a truly special event, one that bridges our new and already beloved local team with the excitement of the major leagues.

The Atlanta Braves are hitting the road with their “Braves Country Road Trip: An All-Star Experience,” and in a fantastic nod to our growing baseball community, the very first stop to feature and activate a Braves affiliate will be right here in Columbus at the new home of our Double-A team, the Columbus Clingstones. As they gear up to take on the Birmingham Barons, Synovus Park will also transform into a mini All-Star hub, offering a unique experience for fans of all ages.

For generations, the Atlanta Braves have been a cornerstone of our Southern sports identity. From nail-biting pennant races to World Series triumphs, they’ve provided countless moments of shared excitement. Now, that big-league energy is coming directly to us. Imagine walking up to the brand-new All-Star Wall, a visual celebration of baseball’s brightest moments and legendary players. It’s a chance to connect with the history and prestige of the game we love.

And for a bit of interactive fun, the Hype Set photo booth will allow fans to channel their inner Brave, striking a pose worthy of the highlight reel. But perhaps the coolest part? Everyone will have the opportunity to autograph a larger-than-life baseball. This isn’t just any souvenir; this very ball will travel to each stop on the Braves Country Road Trip before taking its final bow at Truist Park during the 2025 MLB All-Star Week – a tangible piece of Columbus fandom making its way to the heart of Braves Country.

Beyond the interactive displays, fans can look forward to exciting giveaways throughout the event. And for those dreaming of experiencing the All-Star festivities firsthand, a sweepstakes will be running for a chance to win tickets to the 2025 MLB All-Star Week in Atlanta, complete with a hotel stay and access to the Capital One All-Star Village. It’s an opportunity to take your Braves fandom to the next level.

This Saturday isn’t just about a ballgame; it’s about celebrating the connection between our local community and the broader Braves family. It’s a chance to welcome this exciting initiative to Columbus and show our support for the Clingstones in their new home. So, gather your friends, bring the kids, and head to Synovus Park. The All-Star fun kicks off in the Right Field Plaza from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Remember, a game ticket is required to enter, so secure your spot and get ready for a memorable evening where our local baseball spirit meets the thrill of the big leagues. Let’s make this first stop of the Braves Country Road Trip one for the books.
